Books

I’ve published two books to date, and I’m researching my next book.

First to Fight is a biography of Kiffin Rockwell, an American who volunteered to fight for France during World War 1, first as an infantryman in the French Foreign Legion and later as one of the world’s first fighter pilots. The title comes from the fact that he volunteered the day before Germany declared war on France, and nearly three years before the US entered that war.

Flaming Floorboards is, believe it or not, a true account of my adventures and misadventures with old cars. Most people would consider them antiques, but most people wouldn’t try to use them as daily drivers. The title comes from the fact that many of these cars have had wooden floorboards which have, on occasion, caught fire.

Since booth books are currently for sale I can’t offer them for download through this website, but if you click on the pictures below you can read excerpts and view photo supplements for the books.
