When my son was little he grew tired of having me read the same story books over and over, so sometimes I just made up a story. He called them “pretend stories” and begged for them almost every night. His favorites were about a cat named “Nikki,” which just happened to be the name of the cat who lived with us at the time. I hope your children will enjoy these stories as much as my children did.

Amazon’s Kindle used to require the .mobi format. Kindle still supports existing .mobi files, but Amazon now recommends (and “Save to Kindle” requires) using the .epub or PDF format.
